Newsletter and Website Updates
Tom Cosmas

Hopefully, you noticed the new frontice on The Crossing newsletter and our website. The Board felt that the Osprey illustration which has been on both for many years looked a bit unrealistic and perhaps a more dynamic Osprey (or other raptor) illustration would add more 'motion' to the banners.

While viewing the Ospreys.org website, I found a link to illustrations by Alessandro Troisi. One illustration labeled "Grace in the heavens" caught my eye. Mr. Troisi was contacted for permission to use an adaption of this illustration in our newsletter banner and on the website. He has graceously consented to its usage.

Another coincidental event was that our web site is now hosted by JKAHosting.com. Their package gives us a lot more storage capacity, on-line e-mails, programming; and on-line database capabilities which weren't available on our previous host. Now, I need to learn how to implement them!
