Holden Fund Grants
WCAS Board

A generous bequest from Polly Holden, long time area resident and nature enthusiast, enables the Washington Crossing Audubon Society to offer grants to encourage groups and individuals to undertake projects promoting bird and wildlife education and conservation. Recipients of the 2005 grants are:

  • Friends for the Hamilton-Trenton-Bordentown Marsh
  • City of Trenton Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, and Culture
  • Lisa Kasaback of City Smiles
  • Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey

Recipients will be introduced at the program meeting on February 21, and invited to return later in the year to report on their projects. A request for new proposals will appear in fall 2005.
