A generous bequest from Polly Holden, long time area resident and nature enthusiast, enables the Washington Crossing Audubon Society to offer grants to encourage groups and individuals to undertake projects promoting bird and wildlife education and conservation. Recipients of the 2005 grants are:

• Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey,
• Friends of Drexel Woods and The Lawrence Nature Center,
• Biodiversity Conservation in the Colonche Hills of Ecuador, c/o Dr. Dusti Becker.
