Peter T. Johnson For many years the Development Committee has raised funds to provide the National Audubon Society's Audubon Adventures In-School free of charge to fourth-grade classrooms in the intercity schools of Trenton, Ewing and Hamilton. Audubon Adventures is a year-long curriculum developed specifically for ages 8 to 11. This age group is especially receptive to learning about nature and desirous of experiencing it. WCAS strives to offer these children the opportunity to establish a knowledge base upon which they can develop a strong interest in environmental problems and begin to understand the complexities involved with the public policies governing parts of the natural world. As in previous years, we seek funds from local corporations, foundations and individuals for this project. Your participation is welcomed though identifying potential funding sources, encouraging your employer to designate the WCAS as a corporate matching-gift recipient, or making a donation yourself.
