On December 12, the U.S. 9th Circuit Court in Boise, Idaho, overturned the so-called Roadless Rule Injunction. For the time being, this makes the Roadless Rule, as it was announced by the Clinton Administration, law. This is good news, but we need to keep a close eye on the issue of roadless area protection in our national forests.
