Washington Crossing Audubon Society strongly supports the passage of Ballot Question #2 as a critical step towards ensuring well-maintained, accessible natural areas across the state and encourages you to vote in November to decide the future of these areas. Voter approval of Ballot Question #2 this November is just the first step we need to take to protect our natural areas. In order to continue preserving open space, farmland and historic sites and to better maintain existing natural areas, we also need to replenish and strengthen the Garden State Preservation Trust in 2007.
