|WCAS Board member Hannah Suthers has been banding birds at a site off Featherbed Lane in Hopewell Township for more than 20 consecutive years. Long running studies such as Hannah's are very special, as they provide invaluable data for understanding trends in bird populations in particular and in the environment in general. And you can help! Volunteers are needed to help clear paths and flight lanes of vegetation (especially multiflora rose) so that the birds and banders can move through the area for the spring banding session. If you are willing to help do battle with the tough and thorny bushes, preferably in February and March before the tick season, please call Hannah at (609) 466-1871.|If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact either of the following:
